Big Top Tents, Inc. has been in business in Baton Rouge, Louisiana since 1982.
We are family owned and operated. We specialize in tent rentals for parties,
weddings, company functions, plant turnarounds, and gospel events. Along with
tent rentals we also sell used and new tents. Our tent tops are made with heavy
duty vinyl and the poles and frames are of top quality materials.
Our company has done tents for movie shoots, such as North and South, Out of
Sight, Monster's Ball, and Dukes of Hazard (2005). They are used for eating
under, changing areas, etc. A tent can be set up on site the day before use or
earlier so it will be ready for use when you arrive. We have a large inventory so if
multiple sites are being used at once we will still be able to meet your needs.
Currently we are assisting FEMA, Red Cross and the National Guard in the
rebuilding of New Orleans, Louisiana, Slidell, Louisiana and West Cameron
Parish. Our tents are housing National Guardsmen in New Orleans in 6 large
tents while they assist the city. In Slidell, we have set up multiple stations for the
Red Cross to assist evacuees and people who have been affected by Hurricane
Katrina. West Cameron Parish was damaged by Hurricane Rita and we have set
up a large tent for FEMA to assist the local people with supplies.
